In light of the NAR lawsuit, it’s only natural to be curious about the changes happening in the market. Lately, I have been receiving a lot of questions about the issue with the Department of Justice, particularly the issues about the NAR lawsuit and how it will change real estate. That is why today I’m going to share some good news with you.

Not much is going to change for us, but know that if you are a buyer who’s going to be working with us in the future, our compensation is one of the top topics in question right now. Rest assured that we are committed to finding a win-win solution all the time. Here are three things you might want to know about.

First of all, our commissions will often be paid through concessions already included in the transaction by the seller. Second, we may need to negotiate our commissions directly with the seller, which is quite common and something we handle regularly with for-sale-by-owner properties. Lastly, there could be scenarios where the seller covers a portion, and as the buyer, you contribute a bit towards our fees. Worry not, though, because all of these details will be sorted out well in advance.
